Born into a dancing family, Jenne cannot recall a time when she didn’t dance and has been teaching Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Contemporary, Lyrical, Afro/Caribbean and Broadway for over 30 years.

Jenne commenced Pilates Equipment and Mat classes at age 12 to enhance her stability and flexibility as a dancer and fell in love with the Pilates Method. She attained her Bachelor of Education and Bachelor of Applied Arts Dance/Drama and was further educated in Pilates during her 4 years at UNSW.

A move to London in 1999 gave her an opportunity to train as a Pilates Instructor at her local studio. On her return continued her education with Pilates Institute of Australasia with whom she is accredited. Jenne enjoys expanding her repertoire and diving into new research through continuing education with Polestar Pilates, APMA, and Taube Pilates.

In 2009 Jenne opened Pilates Plus in Beecroft, after 10 years of teaching Pilates Equipment and Mat work in studios, gyms and community centres. Pilates Plus has been busy since day one with many of our clients utilising Pilates to complement their osteopathic treatments received at Beecroft Osteopathic Clinic.

In 2023 Pilates Plus moved to Pennant Hills due to impending demolishment of the Beecroft premises. Jenne loves the bright and airy space and so do her clients.

Jenne has created a nurturing environment ensuring clients feel comfortable to reach their individual goals and believes Pilates can be of great benefit to any person of any age and any ability.

Whether it’s improving balance, training for an event/performance, supporting pre and post-natal mums, sport specific programming, or guiding rehabilitees, Jenne uses her passion for Pilates and 25 years of experience to support clients physical and mental well-being.

Rebecca Ashton

Having spent 17 years working in the money markets both in Australia and the UK, including the world’s biggest listed hedge fund, Rebecca transitioned into her passions of dressage and Pilates. Rebecca’s Pilates journey began decades ago in Australia as a client as she realised the great benefits it provided for her corporate career and her competitive horse sport.

Her initial Pilates training and qualifications were undertaken in the UK under Pilates Training Solutions and since then she brings extra knowledge from Oov therapies and the neuro-lymphatic activation technique “Be Activated” to her Pilates clients, as well as continual education in classical Pilates method and the latest wellness techniques.

Rebecca is passionate about getting the body to move well, in balance and pain free; from fixing a sore shoulder and rehab to preparing clients for high performance in international sport. Rebecca splits her time between teaching Pilates and dressage.

Farah MohamedFarrah

Farah has always had a passion for proactive healthcare. After 13 years in IT she was blessed to move in the direction of health and wellbeing. As a Pilates Instructor and Wellness Advocate With doTerra she is living her passion of nurturing wellbeing through the power of therapeutic grade essential oils, body awareness & movement using Pilates principles.

Her love for Pilates started when she was sent for Pilates to improve her personal well being and relieve back pain. Seeing more and more people suffer from back & neck pain due to the sedentary lifestyle or persistent pain from injury, she decided to become an instructor and was keen to share the benefits she had gained with others. Farah seeks to work with individual needs and to help clients achieve their goals using Pilates principles. She has a young daughter and is additionally interested in the benefits of pre and post natal care.

Jan was introduced to Pilates as a form of muscle strengthening and postural rehabilitation after
repetitive injury from netball, squash, and other competitive sports. Not only did Pilates help
alleviate Jan’s injuries and strengthen her overall body, but it also started her on a career path
into the health and wellness industry.

Having now been a remedial massage therapist for 25 years, along with 20 years Pilates teaching
experience, Jan has a strong focus on rehabilitation and injury recovery. During a class, if
experiencing pain or injury, you can expect to work on gentle exercises that will help reduce
pain, release tension, and increase your range of movement to get you moving again. Once the
initial pain/injury period has subsided, Jan focuses on strength and endurance exercises,
postural alignment, along with gaining a whole-body workout to help reduce the likelihood of
injury recurrence.

Jan also delights in working with pregnant women and takes special joy in keeping mum’s-to-be
healthy and strong, preparing them for the next phase of their lives.

Jan takes a caring and considerate approach ensuring each client is working to their full
potential, finding fun, interesting and challenging exercises that will leave you feeling like
you’re taking positive steps in improving your overall health and wellbeing.

Jill Mitroo

Originally from a background in corporate communications, Jill discovered Pilates as a form of rehabilitation after a serious illness. The mind body connection that Pilates facilitates helped bring her back to wellness, and she felt fitter and stronger than before. Jill was amazed that her core strength and posture were better than when she had attended the gym regularly for more than 20 years. And the back pain and repeated injuries she had experienced for years after childbirth were finally under control.

Jill became a passionate advocate for the powers of Pilates and undertook formal training as a Pilates Instructor. She is keen to use her passion and experience to help clients move and feel better.
