Born into a dancing family and a Mum who owned a dance school “Westside School of Dance” Jenne cannot recall a time when she didn’t dance and has been teaching with her Mum now for over 20 years.
Jenne started Pilates Equipment and Mat classes at age 12 to enhance her stability and flexibility as a dancer and fell in love with the Pilates Method. She attained her Bachelor of Education and Bachelor of Applied Arts Dance/Drama at UNSW and was further educated in Pilates during her 4 years at University.
A move to London gave her an opportunity to undertake training in Pilates at her local studio. On her return continued her education with Pilates Institute of Australasia with whom she is accredited.
After 10 years of teaching Pilates Equipment and Mat work in studios, gyms and community centres,Jenne opened Pilates Plus in 2009. The studio has been busy since day one with many of our clients utilising Pilates to compliment their osteopathic treatments received at Beecroft Osteopathic Clinic. Jenne has created a nurturing environment in the studio and has ensured that clients feel comfortable to reach their individual goals.
Rebecca has been riding horses her whole life. For the last 17 years she has worked in financial markets, first as an institutional financial futures broker and then as a trader for the world’s biggest listed hedge fund, both in Australia and in the UK. Although she enjoyed her frenetic years in the money markets, the time was right for her to focus more on her real love, the horse sport.
Rebecca started as a Pilates client and realised the great benefits it provided for both her corporate and her horse sport and training of others in the sport. Rebecca trained with Pilates Training Solutions and qualified via CYQ in London. On her return to Sydney joined Pilates +plus as an instructor. As Rebecca is a BHS trained and EA accredited coach (level 1 dressage specialist), she splits her time between teaching Pilates and training others in Horse sport.
